Skin Lightening in Monsoon

There are many causes of looking skin dark and dull. The reasons could be sun exposure, pollution, dry skin, use of chemical based cosmetic products, stress, poor lifestyle and other such reasons.


Here some ways to lighten your skin:

Yogurt
Yogurt has bleaching properties suitable for all types of skin. Rubbing plain yogurt onto your skin once daily for several weeks would help change complexion You can add honey or a little lemon juice to it.

Oranges
Oranges have vitamin C that lightens spots and marks on your face.  You can apply paste of orange juice and a pinch of powdered turmeric.

Gram Flour
Mixture of gram flour with rose water paste helps remove excess oil from your skin

Honey
Apply honey on your face remove dead skin cells

Lemons
Applying squeezed lemon juice directly on your face using a cotton ball will definitely lighten your skin complexion
You can also make a paste of turmeric powder mixed with 3 teaspoons of lemon juice

Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera aids regenerate new cells, light dark spots and improve skin complexion

Turmeric
Turmeric is the best thing to improve overall skin’s health. Apply paste made of turmeric powder and milk cream.

Cucumber
Cucumber has the cooling effect on your skin ensures your skin is firm and supple

More Tips:
  • Increase vitamin C intake found in lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas.
  • Eat Vitamin A foods that includes carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce.
  • Drink enough water a day about 10 glasses
  • Exercise daily for 30 to 60 minutes
  • Stop smoking
  • Get good night’s sleep for 7-8 hours
